Improvements
The current owners for 40 years were told by the original owner, who purchased the island from the Army Corp of Engineers in the early 1920’s, that the smaller cottage was built about 1925 and the A frame house was built around 1965. We renovated both buildings in the late 80’s and five years ago metal roofs were added on both cottages.
The two cottages offer two bedrooms and one bathroom each and both share beautiful lake views.
The cottages are comfortable with a knotty pine interior and one cottage has a two sided fireplace.
The island boathouse offers access for a fishing boat and both of the cottages have a dock.
