My Story: Raised on a Farm in Central Iowa, hard work was no stranger. The oldest of four, my brother and I did a lot of the farming while Dad worked a construction job, We later moved to West Des Moines where my brother and I earned a scholarship to Des Moines Technical High School. There we studied computer programing and accounting. After graduation, I attended University of Central Missouri completing a BS in Business Administration. It was there that I entered the flight program at the University, obtained my pilots license, enrolled in ROTC and was commissioned as an officer. Upon graduation, I served for 3 years in the US Army. After Service, I became a licensed as a CPA and the youngest partner in the regional CPA firm. I became lead auditor in Bank and Savings and Loan audits including mortgage loan portfolios. I later formed my own Tax and Consulting firms. I performed tax and audit service for Real Estate Development and Syndication in St Louis and Fairview Heights and Edwardsville, Illinois for projects such as St Louis Union Station Partners, Power House and Post Office Annex, a Historic Preservation project. In addition to preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns, I performed Management/Tax consulting services for Anheuser Busch Wholesalers across the country including, wholesaler mergers and acquisitions, financial projections, loan portfolio negotiation, accounting system set up and implementation of software solution, staff training, UNIX support of software remotely, on going accounting and tax preparation. Several Realtors were my clients and the interest in Real Estate took hold. I currently reside in Crystal City, Missouri with my wife Toni. We have three children and eight grand children.
