Description
The Headquarters Ranch has extensive paved road frontage on all four sides. The ranch fronts the west side of County Road 25, the north line of County Road 18, the east line of County Road 17 (Rycade School Road), and the south line of Kincer Road. The ranch includes dense areas of large old growth live oak trees, native pasture land, and row crop farm land. The ranch is crossed by the meandering paths of both Cow Creek and Turkey Creek. The creek includes two lower water concrete crossings that are maintained by the Brazoria County. All of the farm land is located on the west side of the ranch along County Road 17 (Rycade School Road). Most of the ranch to the east and south of Cow Creek is located outside the flood plain. There is some flood plain land to the west of the creek and within the northern V area formed by Cow Creek and Turkey Creek. The ranch is crossed in a northeast/southwest fashion by a pipeline corridor that has served as a source of income for many years. The ranch includes a set of livestock working pens and several older barns and livestock sheds. The ranch has a significant number of whitetail deer along with wild hogs and migratory birds. The Headquarters Ranch is both a great investment property and an attractive recreational opportunity for the avid outdoorsman.
