New York wooded land with timber for sale.  This completely forested tract would make an ideal location for a future camp or simple campsite.  It is located in a quiet area dominated by large forested tracts and few people.  The property is accessible right from the road front, though there is no developed driveway into it.  Just a short distance into the tract a small tributary stream to Spruce Creek flows through a low, flat, wet area.  This area is the only zone on the property that is labeled as “wetland” by the DEC.Just past the stream, the land rises quickly to a beautiful forest of hard maple, soft maple, cherry, ash, hemlock, spruce and fir.  There is currently approximately 205,760 boardfeet of timber, International ¼” log rule, on the property.  Timber could be thinned at any time but is in an ideal growing condition and should be delayed another 5-10 years.  No harvests have been conducted here prior to or during the time of the current ownership.There is solid evidence of deer spending time on the property with numerous trails, rubs, scrapes and browse areas throughout the forest.  This is a good area for grouse and other forms of game and non-game species alike.  In addition, Jerseyfield Road is part of the snowmobile trail system directly in front of the property.  Fishing opportunities are abundant nearby as well, with West Canada and East Canada Creek, Spruce Creek, Spruce Lake, Klondike Reservoir and many other streams being available for both trout and warm water fish species.Boundaries are painted blue and are easily found.  Electric is not available at the road front.
