This portion of the ranch consists of 1,161 acres +/- of high-fenced area with plans to include approximately 80% of the total ranch game. Approximately 1.4 miles of Colorado River frontage is included, and it has over 2.3 miles of the Jayhawk Creek. This area will include the main lodge, and all improvements. These accommodations are considered some of the finest in West Texas. The main lodge is approx. 5,000 square feet and offers stunning views of the Colorado River and Jayhawk Creek valley. The lodge has a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Also includes a dining area with a large living/entertainment area and fireplace, a full bar, multiple tv’s and pool table. It also includes a gunroom on the backside that has two large gun safes and built-in gun racks and cabinets. A large covered porch connects the Buffalo Lodge to the main lodge. Across the drive from the main lodge is a 500 square feet Casita. This structure features a large bedroom, seating area along with a coffee bar, full bath, and a covered porch.
Other improvements include the area known as the Acapulco Lounge. The remote site has an above ground concrete swimming pool with a deck and a 250 square feet pool house with bath. The employee and guide compound features multiple houses, a 3,000 square feet +/- insulated barn with three roll-up doors, and adjacent barn with town roll-up doors, and overhead feed storage bins.
Jayhawk Creek Ranch is currently utilized as an income producing hunting operation, offering first class hunting. Bookings are available during the year for corporate retreats, private parties, and family gatherings. The ranch is also fully staffed.
