Buying and selling any sort of property is a significant endeavor, but when it comes to dealing with land, the stakes are taken to a whole new level. Allow me to introduce myself – I am Koby Rickertsen, an accredited Land Consultant, proud member of the Realtors Land Institute, and a licensed Multi-State Land Broker with credentials spanning across Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. My journey is deeply rooted in the world of farmland, having spent my formative years on the family farm located in the heart of Lincoln and Dawson Counties in Nebraska. My initiation into the realm of agriculture can be traced back to my very first college class, an agronomy course that my father took my brother, two cousins, and me to when none of us were even 10 years old. Little did I know that those early days of scouting fields and providing invaluable insights would lay the foundation for my future career. Back then, I was an "agronomist" before it was considered cool, and I was compensated with a modest $1.00 per hour for the sweat and toil we put in. Following my high school graduation, uncertain about the direction my life should take, I made a life-changing decision to serve our great nation for 13 years as part of the US Navy Submarine Force. During this period, I not only dedicated myself to my country but also had the privilege of meeting my beautiful wife. Together, we embarked on the journey of building a life together, and eventually, we decided to return to my Nebraska roots, where we raised our two wonderful children. Throughout my professional journey, the allure of agriculture has never ceased to captivate me. It was this deep-rooted passion that inspired my wife and me to establish RE/MAX Home, Farm & Ranch. As a producer, investor, and property owner, I was driven by the belief that we could enhance the buyer and seller experience when it came to real estate transactions. My enduring love for the land and unwavering commitment to serving landowners led me to specialize in the field of real estate, particularly in the realm of land. In addition to my roles as an accredited Land Consultant and a member of the Realtors Land Institute, I am also the host of the American Land Seller Podcast, where I share insights, expertise, and stories related to the fascinating world of land transactions. Currently, I am proudly associated with High Point Land Company, where I continue to dedicate myself to helping individuals navigate the complexities of buying and selling land. Whether you're looking to invest in agricultural land, sell a piece of your cherished property, or explore the opportunities within the diverse landscapes of Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wisconsin, or Wyoming, rest assured that I am here to guide you every step of the way. Let's embark on this journey together, as we unlock the boundless potential that the land has to offer.
