Border Sands

800 +/- Acres of Texas and Oklahoma land with more than a mile of Red River running through it. A complete sand mining operation is set up on the Oklahoma side of the river with easy access to the nation leading north Texas construction market. The balance of the property is Red River Valley at its finest with hunting, fishing and recreational opportunities. Land The  gently rolling land descends from the east and west into the Red River Valley creating the border between  Texas and Oklahoma. The grassy flats on the higher ground give way to low brush and various species of trees that grow thicker and taller toward the riverbanks. Improvements The Texas side of the river is pristine and completely undeveloped. The Oklahoma side of the property is mostly untouched with the exception of Coastal Bermuda  hay meadows and a professionally designed and operational sand mining operation. Recreation The varied terrain with areas of thick trees and brush is  perfect habitat for the whitetail deer that are native to the valley. Turkey, Quail, Dove and migrating waterfowl are every day visitors to this pristine landscape along with coyotes, wild hogs and even the occasional elk. Agriculture The eastern edge of the property includes a 100 acre hay meadow planted in Coastal Burmuda.
