Friendship Farm is a former breeder farm located in Covington County, Alabama, in the Friendship community just north of Opp. The property spans approximately 32+/- acres and includes about 20 acres of 20-year-old Longleaf Pine. The existing poultry infrastructure consists of one 40x600 breeder house built in 2006, along with two 40x450 dirt pads that may be suitable for future house construction.
The breeder house is equipped with Choretronics 2 controllers with expanded backup, Valco nest boxes, Lubing water lines, chain feeders, and wooden slats. The farm is supplied by well water and includes a generator and a mortality incinerator. A 40x60 dry stack barn provides ample space for litter storage, and there are several smaller buildings and sheds located throughout the property.
Friendship Farm presents a unique opportunity either as a homestead property or for new poultry house development, with several integrators operating in the surrounding area.
Poultry farms are bio secure facilities. Absolutely no visits to the farm without an appointment. All potential purchasers must be prequalified with the PoultrySouth Team prior to scheduling a farm visit.
