Cypress Lake Farm is located in nine miles south southwest of Tunica and nine miles north of the juction of Highways 61 and 49. It has execellent frontage along Old Highway 61. There is one large field containing around 51 acres that is irrirgated. The remainder of the arable acreage is in smaller fields along Cypress Lake. The soils consist of 5% Class I Askew very fine sandy loam, 36% Class II Dundee silt loam and Teksob very fine sandy loam, 46.3% Class III Sharkey clay, and Tensas silty clay loam and 11.6% Class IV Sharkey clay. The cropland has a good rice base and small amounts of soybean and wheat bases.
Cypress Lake provides some duck hunting opportunities. As the water rises in Cypress Lake during the winter months portions of the fields along the edge flood naturally expanding the waterfowl potential. This is a small hybrid tract, which do not come along often, which provides an income stream along with some recreational benefits.
