Paul went to college at the University of Nevada Max C. Fleischmann College of Agriculture in Reno where he received a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Education (1971-75). While in college he was active in the UNR Aggie Club and was at one time president as well as selected as the Outstanding Aggie Club Senior in 1975. While at College he was also selected outstanding Freshman Boxer in 1974. Work Background: Paul taught Vocational Agriculture grades 7-12 for two years: 1976-77 in Browning Montana on the Blackfoot Indian Reservation and 1977-78 in Wells, Nevada. He left teaching for other opportunities. From 1978-83 he was hired as the Executive Secretary of the Nevada Cattlemens Association as their CEO. He left this position to start his own business Nevada High Country Sales and Service which included Rural Real Estate Sales, Feed, Seed and Fertilizer sales and an Outfitting and Guide Service. He's had his own Brokerage since 1990. He specializes in Farm and Ranch and rural land . He's actively involved in local, state and National Realtor Assn. Currently serving on Government Affairs Committee of the Realtors Land Institute and represents RLI on the Land Use Private Property and Environment Committee.
